Skies of a thousand stars is a game reserve tour giving you the chance to explore a handful of South Africa' s beautiful private and national game reserves and getting up close and personal with the majestic animals which inhabit them. This is a tour designed to free your soul and give you the chance to get back to Nature and escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Become rejuvenated with the fresh air, open spaces, tranquil camp fires and a picturesque ceiling of stars hanging high over your head.

There is a choice of two tours with option two taking you North of Johannesburg into the areas of Bela Bela and Vaalwater to two very different reserves.

Both tours include a once in a life time chance to cycle through Kruger National Park accompanied by two rangers to ensure you have nothing to worry about.

Option 1:


7 Nights

4 - 8 person: From £2200.00 p.p

1 - Johannesburg: depending on arrival times, there may be the chance to ride a few trails around Johannesburg and get to see the sights and sounds of this vibrant city.

2 and 3 - Set off early the next morning to reach a private game reserve just outside Kruger National Park and stay and the beautiful Cheetah Paw Eco Lodge for the next two nights. The resident ranger is extremely knowledgeable and will answer any questions you may have about the animals and plants you will see along the rides. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will instantly be taken aback with its setting and jaw dropping views accompanied by kind hospitality of all the staff.

4 and 5 - These two nights shall be spent within the Kruger National Park and you will have the opportunity to do a morning and afternoon ride which will give you an unparalleled perspective of your surroundings. Both rides will be accompanied by two armed rangers ensuring you have absolutely nothing to worry about. (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY). While in the reserve, a number a game drives will also be done to try and find as many of the reserves illusive inhabitants as possible.

6 - After leaving the Kruger, the tour heads to Pilgrims Rest which is situated along the Panorama Route in the Kruger Lowveld region. The entire town was declared a National Monument in 1986 and provides an insight into the days of the South Africa gold rush.

7 - The final evening will be spent in Johannesburg where you will get another chance to experience the site and taste some of the countries splendid cuisine.

Option 2:


10 Nights

4 - 8 person: From £2500 p.p 

1 - Johannesburg: depending on arrival times, there may be the chance to ride a few trails around Johannesburg and get to see the sights and sounds of this vibrant city.

2 and 3 - The following two nights are spent at a private reserve near the town of Vaalwater where you shall given the opportunity to explore the entire reserve and just do and see what you like. As many rides can be done as you like or just spend the entire day out on the bike and have lunch under one of its many acacia trees.

4 - After leaving Vaalwater, it is a short drive to the next reserve which is Bateleur private reserve just outside the town of Bela Bela. The owners are extremely accommodating and you will literally be given the keys to the entire reserve and ride among the small herds of resident antelope.  

5 and 6 - Set off early the next morning to reach a private game reserve just outside Kruger National Park and stay and the beautiful Cheetah Paw Eco Lodge for the next two nights.
